1925, Vauxhall Joins the Growing Global Family

Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., based in Luton, England, was GM’s first major acquisition outside North America and its first major expansion in the European market. At the time, Vauxhall focused on large and prestigious vehicles (unlike the Chevrolets built in Copenhagen and the smaller cars built by Adam Opel in Germany).
