1953, Oldsmobile Unveils Its Starfire Concept

Among the cars shown at the first Motorama in 1953 was the Oldsmobile "Starfire" concept car, named after a jet fighter airplane. It featured a fiberglass body and a 200-horsepower Rocket engine.
