1965, Opel's First Concept Car

Opel unveiled its first concept car, the Experimental Opel GT sports car, at the 1965 Frankfurt Auto Show to gauge the public’s reaction. Built off the Kadett platform, the car went into production in 1968, with sixty percent of its volume exported to America and sold through Buick dealerships.
