...1 of 1,377 made, 1 of 10 with a Power Sunroof, W-72 400ci Engine, it has 66,000 miles. Only +/- 250 still exist today. His [husband] passion of GM cars dates back to his father's love for cars (retired GM). He assisted his father in repairs and maintenance on their 1966 Chevrolet Impala Station Wagon race car for years (beating Bob Glidden several times). He first saw the '77 Can Am a few years ago and could not stop talking about the beautiful lines, its style, the hood scoop and its uniqueness. He loves to display his car at local car shows and cruises - taking many awards along the way. His passion for great GM cars is ever growing....
GM’s Century Cruise pays tribute to GM’s past and the passion owners have for their vehicles. On Saturday, August 16, 2008 this vehicle and more than 100 other classic GM vehicles will cruise from the GM Global Headquarters at the Renaissance Center up Woodward Avenue to the heart of the Woodward Dream Cruise in Royal Oak and the surrounding suburbs. One of these vehicles will be crowned “top cruiser” based on a text voting campaign.
