The first Saturn rolled off the line at the new Spring Hill, Tennessee, plant on July 30, to compete head-on against imports in the U.S. and Canadian small car markets. The car in this picture was later displayed at the visitors' center for the Spring Hill factory and was still kept there even after Saturns ceased to be built there in 2007.
