Pontiac
The first Pontiac car was built in 1926 and sold through GM’s Oakland brand dealer network. Pontiac cars soon proved so popular that the Oakland brand was dropped in 1932 and replaced by Pontiac. In 1964, the legendary Pontiac GTO ushered in the "muscle car" era. Today, the Pontiac brand is identified with youthful and performance-oriented buyers and drivers.
